The Mary Arden Inn

The Mary Arden Inn Formerly a splendid private house, the Mary Arden Inn dates back to the 1700s. You may recognise the name Mary Arden as William Shakespeare's mother.

Standing opposite Mary Arden's house,which until the late 1960's was still a working farm. The Inn is ideally located for exploring Stratford Upon Avon with all its heritage and history. We are within walking distance of the canal, along with a short walk to the local train station.

At the Mary Arden Inn we cater for types of appetites ranging from House Burgers to sizzling steaks.Or you can try our Beer battered Cod that come with its very own Fish & Chip paper.

We have 11 letting rooms all with ensuite accomodation and within keeping of the Shakespear theme.

We can now offer Free WiFi in our downstairs public area.

To the rear of our premises we have a grassed beer garden.

Travel by road

If coming by the motorway from the North M6 junction 3 this leads on to the M42 junction 3a this leads to the M40 junction 16 follow signs for A3400 towards Henley in Arden go through Henley continuing on the A3400 towards Stratford upon Avon. Follow the brown tourist signs towards Mary Arden's House, we are situated across from the house.
