Blue Boar Inn The Blue Boar Inn represents the best of an old English country inn where traditional values and atmosphere still survive. The Blue Boar is renowned for its fine food and has a wide-ranging a la carte menu, as well as traditional bar snacks. A wide selection of fine wines are available as well as traditional cask ales. The oldest part of the Blue Boar dates from the early 1600s. A glass-covered well in the restaurant is 35ft deep and is now the home of a variety of fish. William Shakespeare was married in Temple Crofton church in 1582.
