Discover Stratford Website Closure 19 May 2017

Dear Discover Stratford User

We are informing you of changes regarding the Discover Stratford Website which was originally set up to provide a presence on the internet to support the tourism offer in South Warwickshire.

Please note that this site will cease to operate from Friday 19th May and all future enquiries will be directed to Shakespeare's England, the official Destination Management Organisation for tourism for the Region which is recognised by VisitEngland.

This now means that there is an opportunity for you to join Shakespeare's England and to be listed on their website, where there will be a higher on-line prominence and a wider reach to new audiences. To find out more about Shakespeare's England and the benefits it can offer, please see the invitation below.


Dear Discover Stratford Business

As you may be aware Shakespeare's England is the official destination management organisation (official tourism body) for Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwickshire. Our remit is to promote the destination nationally and internationally to encourage visitors to the area.

We are a public/private sector partnership recognised by VisitEngland and VisitBritain and a not for profit membership organisation jointly funded by Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Warwick District Council and our members. We currently represent over 120 businesses in the area.

Part of our remit is to manage the offial website for the region.

As a valued Discover Stratford Business we would like ot offer you a free listing on the new Shakespeare's England website (Launching May 2017) from May 2017 - September 2017 to promote your business.

After this free period, you are invited to sign up as a member- full details of the various membership levels are available from our website.
