See the amazing lifecycle of a butterfly within the Emerging Case. In the Discovery Zone some of the world's largest and most camouflaged caterpillars are on show with cocoons, giant silk moths and shining pupae hanging on the plants. Observe the fascinating and strange in the Mini-Beast Metropolis, home to stick insects, beetles, giant millipedes, snails, the amazing leafcutter ant colony and some of the world's largest tarantula spiders. Afterwards you can browse in the Gift Shop where you will find nature inspired gifts for all the family.

Located on the south bank of the River Avon opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, easily accessible from the town centre, just five minutes walk away. Car parking is available outside the site entrance. Onsite parking for disabled only.
