Studley is one of the largest villages in the country. It lies within easy reach of Redditch, Birmingham and Stratford on Avon and there are frequent bus services to the neighbouring towns of Alcester, Redditch and Stratford.
The village centre has a wide range of shopping facilities such as bridal shops, butchers, bakers, Aldi and Co-operative supermarkets as well as banking facilities but Studley is renowned as a centre for eating. We have restaurants and pubs selling a wide range of cuisines from traditional English, Indian, Thai, Chinese, Greek and good old fashioned 'pub grub' available at the many pubs and restaurants in the village.
If you enjoy gardening there are a number of garden centres in the nearby village of Mappleborough Green as well as Studley itself. They supply a huge range of plants and Garden sundries. You can spend many pleasant hours just browsing.
Why not visit the Coffee Shop in Studley Village Hall on a Monday and Tuesday mornings. You are always sure of a warm welcome with a tea, coffee and homemade cakes.
Studley also has a leisure centre and swimming pool if you are feeling energetic, as well as a bowls club and tennis club.
The village is set in very pleasant countryside with many public footpaths in which to take your time and wander by the river Arrow up to the Parish Church and Studley Castle which is now a Best Western Hotel where you could stop off for either lunch or a cup of coffee. Coughton Court renowned for its involvement with the gunpowder plot and Ragley Hall are also within easy reach of the village.
